1. Respect for livestock: When touring the grassland by car or visiting a herder's home, avoid herds of animals, as startled livestock may run and lose condition. When you come across a herd on the grassland, drive or walk around it rather than through it, as passing through the herd is considered disrespectful to the herder.

Alxa League has vast deserts, so the first impression of visiting is of entering a world of sand, especially when the wind is strong and you feel like a speck of floating dust. Even so, the magnificent scenery of Alxa is captivating. The striking contrast between the visual splendour of the great desert and its harsh natural conditions leaves visitors with a deep impression.

Buses leave Beijing's Liuliqiao Bus Station for Xilinhot Long-Distance Bus Station at 9:00 and 18:00 every day. The journey takes about 8.5 hours, with tickets priced at ¥180 to ¥240. Alternatively, you can take a train from Beijing to Chifeng and then transfer to a minibus, which takes about 6 hours. Along the way you can see Dalinor Lake and enjoy the grassland scenery, making this a memorable experience.

A round trip by car is about 1,400 km in total. The recommended route is Beijing → Chifeng → Hexigten → Dalinor. Road conditions are good, and an ordinary car is fine. The only exception is a gravel section of about one hour when travelling from the north shore to the south shore of the lake.
