About Bingyu Gorge
Rare in northern China for its karst landscape, Bingyugou is nicknamed the "Guilin of the North." Its mountains combine the rugged, bold grandeur of northern ranges with the delicate, graceful beauty of southern peaks. The most famous feature is Xianren Cave (Immortal Cave) on the slopes of Longhua Mountain, which houses both Taoist and Buddhist shrines where incense smoke drifts constantly, hence its name. Yunshui Ferry (Cloud and Water Ferry) is the highlight of the scenic area, with sheer cliffs and strangely shaped peaks and rocks rising on both banks.
