- **Getting there:** Bolin Building (柏林大厦), opposite Shijiazhuang Railway Station, runs direct minibuses to Zhengding, a journey of about 40 minutes. Direct trains from Beijing to Zhengding are also now available, taking about 3 hours.
- **By car:** From Liuliqiao, take the Jingshi Expressway and exit at Dawayao Bridge. Continue on National Highway 107, passing Baoding and Dingzhou, to reach Zhengding Ancient Town directly.

## About Zhengding Ancient Town

Zhengding Ancient Town has long been celebrated with the saying 'Nine towers, four pagodas, eight great temples and twenty-four gilded archways.' Its Longxing Temple is even called 'the foremost temple outside the capital,' and the Reverse-Seated Guanyin inside was praised by Lu Xun as 'the most beautiful Guanyin in China.'
