## About Zhang Xueliang Former Residence

The Former Residence of Zhang Xueliang, also known as the Young Marshal’s Mansion, was first built in 1921 in a luxurious and elegant French Baroque style. Its spacious, finely crafted interior still retains the Philippine hardwood staircase, floors, doors and windows from 100 years ago. The museum includes the banquet hall where the Young Marshal received guests and handled official business, his study, the military and political council hall, and the living quarters, recreating the daily life of General Zhang Xueliang and Ms. Zhao Yidi. The museum holds more than 300 original artifacts.
