## About Yunwo (Cloud Nest)

One of the most beautiful places in Wuyi Mountain. It is best known for its clouds, which is why it is called “Cloud Nest” (Yunwo). In winter and spring, at dawn and dusk, wisps of cloud often drift out of the caves beneath the cliffs and curl around the rock pinnacles, a truly spectacular sight. At the foot of the mountain, Ziyang Academy (紫阳书院) was once Zhu Xi's retreat and teaching site, and many inscriptions by famous figures are carved into the rock faces.
