## About Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone

The rainforest scenery here is breathtaking, the splendid canyons are dazzling, and there are exquisite Li brocade crafts and sweet tropical fruit. Often called the "Shangri-La of Hainan Island", it is a place visitors never want to leave.

- 1. Bring plenty of dry food and water for the climb, and refuel along the way.
- 2. Consider hiring a guide from the town centre to ensure safety on the mountain and avoid wrong turns.
- 3. November to May is the best time to visit. During the rainy season from June to October, check the local weather forecast beforehand, as heavy rain makes paths slippery and there are many leeches in the mountains.
