- **Getting there:** Take a bus from Chengdu's Chadianzi Passenger Station to Dayi Bus Station. From Dayi Station, direct buses run to the Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort, departing at 8:30, 10:30, 13:30 and 15:00.
- **By car:** Take the Chengming Expressway → Dashuang Road. The total distance is about 130 km, a drive of roughly 2.5 hours.

## About Xiling Snow Mountain

The wild, mysterious nature of Xiling Snow Mountain draws countless visitors.
The scenic area's plant life is distributed vertically according to altitude, with all four seasons present at once. More than 40 rare animal species, including giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys and takins, live here. With high peaks, dense forests, clear springs and unusual wildlife, it is a place to escape the summer heat and to ski in winter. It is rare to find such majestic, untouched natural scenery just over an hour's drive from Chengdu.
The area also contains Heming Mountain (鹤鸣山), the birthplace of the Orthodox Way of the Celestial Masters (天师正一道), as well as the estate of landlord Liu Wencai (刘文彩).
