## About Xiao Putuo Island

A tiny island in Erhai Lake, covering only about 100 square meters. It resembles a seal floating on the water, and legend says this seal subdued the dragon in the lake. On Xiao Putuo Island stands a pavilion built during the Chongzhen era of the Ming dynasty, which houses statues of bodhisattvas.
