## About Xi'an City Wall

Xi’an City Wall stands in the centre of Xi’an. Built during the Hongwu era of the Ming dynasty, it is more than 600 years old and is one of the most famous city walls in Chinese history. If you have not walked along the city wall, it is as if you have not really been to Xi’an. The old city gates have now become part of everyday street life.
