## About Wukang Road

Wukang Road is a "Famous Historic and Cultural Street in China" with 37 historic buildings. Fourteen of them are exquisite historic villas, making it a true "Street of Celebrities": Huang Xing, Tang Shaoyi, Soong Ching-ling, Deng Xiaoping, Chen Yi and Ba Jin all once lived here. The Wukang Mansion, whose exterior resembles a clothes iron, is also a popular spot for photos.
Strolling along this century-old road, you'll pass lush old trees on both sides and catch glimpses of European-style buildings tucked along the roadside. Wukang Road also has plenty of cafés and restaurants where you can take a break, making it ideal for leisurely walks and photography.
