## About Wuchang Snow Valley

A tranquil, unspoilt destination and a superb spot for photography, where visitors can hike from Snow Valley over Yangcao Mountain to Snow Village (Xuexiang).
Snow Valley has the untouched charm of deep, ancient forest, free from any pollution sources. In spring, climb mountains and take photographs; in summer, cool off and relax; in autumn, enjoy mountaineering and adventure; in winter, experience a 10-kilometre snow-drift run.

## Tips from the guidebook

- 1. The crossing from Snow Valley over Yangcao Mountain to Snow Village takes 4–6 hours. The scenery along the way is fairly monotonous; this route is mainly about snow hiking and suits travellers in good physical condition.
- 2. If you only want to reach the summit of Yangcao Mountain for sunrise, set off from Snow Village very early in the morning. The effort involved is considerably lower.
