## About Wild Elephant Valley

This is a place where wild Asian elephants frequently visit, which is how Wild Elephant Valley got its name. Here you can watch elephant shows and explore the tropical rainforest. Within the scenic area is a walking trail more than 4,000 metres long. If you're lucky, you may even see a herd of wild elephants wandering through the forest.

## Tips from the guidebook

- 1. Watch the show: Near the south gate of the scenic area, elephant shows take place every day. The elephants dance, walk across a single-log bridge and even kick a ball with their trunks. Getting up close and personal with the elephants is also a great experience. Show times are 10:00, 11:40, 14:30 and 16:30, each lasting 30 minutes. Admission is included in the entrance ticket.
- 2. See wild elephants: Wild elephants are said to be most likely to appear in the early morning. Staying overnight at Guanxiang Hotel and watching the elephants play in the morning mist can be a delightful experience.
