## About Wansheng Stone Forest

Wansheng Stone Forest is second only to the Stone Forest in Kunming in fame across China. Like the Kunming Stone Forest, it is a karst landscape and is the oldest stone forest in China, though it is smaller in area and scale. Many of its rock formations imitate birds and beasts, earning it the nickname “natural stone animal kingdom.” Nearby scenic spots such as Heishan Valley, Tonggu Huai, Jiuguojing and Cherry Blossom Hot Spring are also well worth a visit.
