## About Wanlyu Park

Visitors from northern China may particularly enjoy this place. Tropical plants are not found just anywhere, and this scenic area boasts nearly 10,000 coconut palms. You might consider renting a bicycle to explore. From within the park, you can also gaze at the Century Bridge, a landmark of Hainan. Locals love coming here for morning exercise and strolls, so you may also choose to visit early in the morning or in the evening.

## Tips from the guidebook

- Sightseeing buses: From Haikou city centre, you can take the “Liulong” sightseeing bus and the “Gongsuda” bus. Departing from Five Lords Shrine, they travel along Haifu Road and Binhai Avenue, passing the entrance of Wanlyu Park, with the terminus at Tropical Ocean Park. Fares are ¥1–3, charged by distance. The roads along the route are lined with coconut palms, and the scenery is beautiful.
