## About Wangcong Shrine

This mausoleum and shrine commemorates the ancient Shu rulers Wangdi and Congdi, who were buried together. Between the halls and tombs, pools ring the site, their waters rippling. Pavilions such as Daosun Lou and Tingjuan Lou are built along the water's edge. More than 200 ancient cypresses surround the tombs, lush and dense. The Song Contest held here during the Dragon Boat Festival is grand and lively.
