## About Tianning Temple

Tianning Chan Temple was first built during the Zhenguan era of the Tang dynasty, more than 1,300 years ago. Tianning Temple is also an ancient temple of Jiangnan celebrated in a poem by Xu Zhimo. Its incense is lively, drawing visitors from across the country to burn incense and pray for blessings. The temple’s Tianning Pagoda offers a view over the whole city of Changzhou from the top, and the Treasure Hall on the east and west sides is well worth a visit.
