## About Taoshan International Hunting Ground

China's first international wildlife hunting ground open to foreign visitors. Temperatures are very low and snow lies for long periods, making it an excellent place for skiing.

## Tips from the guidebook

- 1. Hunting season: late September to the following February is the best hunting period.
- 2. Visiting time: allow at least 5 days and 4 nights. The area lies in the Lesser Khingan (Xiao Xing'an) region, where transport and accommodation are difficult, so it is best to join a local tour group.
