## About Tang Paradise

Built on the site of the former Tang imperial Furong Garden, Tang Paradise is the largest Tang-style architectural complex in China. Centred on Furong Lake, attractions such as Ziyun Tower, Lu Yu Teahouse and the Fengming Jiutian Theatre are scattered around its shores. Here, besides admiring the magnificent Tang-style buildings, you can watch “Dream Return to Tang”, a song-and-dance show full of High Tang flavour.
The night scenery of Furong Garden is especially dazzling. When dusk falls and the lights come on, you can stroll along the Tang Culture Corridor, Ziyun Tower and Fanglin Garden, where the Tang Paradise takes on an even more refined beauty.

## Tips from the guidebook

- 1. Touring the garden: Enter through the West Gate (Yuyuan Gate) and follow the lakeside paths clockwise around Furong Lake to visit the attractions. In the evening, return to the Fengming Jiutian Theatre near the South Gate to watch “Dream Return to Tang”, then catch the water-screen film at the Ziyun Tower Square, north of the theatre, at night.
- 2. Combine with other sights: Tang Paradise is very close to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, so you might visit the pagoda in the morning and Tang Paradise in the afternoon. Entering in the afternoon is the best time to tour Furong Garden, as you can enjoy both the daytime scenery and the night views.
