## About Stork Tower (Guanque Tower)

Located on the east bank of the Yellow River, west of the ancient town of Puzhou in Yongji, Yuncheng, Guanque Tower is counted among China's four great ancient towers, together with Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, Yueyang Tower on the shores of Dongting Lake, and Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang. Scholars of the Tang and Song dynasties climbed the tower to admire the view and left many immortal poems. Among them, Wang Zhihuan's 'Climbing Guanque Tower' is considered an enduring classic.
