## About Silver Cave

The stalactites that formed in different geological eras inside Silver Cave pour down like the Milky Way in the night sky, glittering like silver, which is how the cave got its name. Its unusual natural scenery seems almost beyond human craft: colourful stalactite columns, curtains and ‘waterfalls’ form a wonder of karst art. Nature’s handiwork is on full display here, earning the cave the title ‘Wonder of the World’s Karst Caves’. Annual events such as the Lipu Village Flower Festival, the Lipu Taro Food Festival, a bicycle rally and extreme rock climbing add even more colour.
