- **Getting there:** Take a bus from Chengdu Shiyangchang Bus Station to Baoxing. The fare is ¥60. Then transfer to a bus from Baoxing to Yaoji Village, and walk to the scenic area from where you get off.
- **By car:** 1. Chengdu → Chengwen–Qiong Expressway (成温邛高速) → Qionglai → Tiantai Mountain West Ring Route → Qionglu Road → Lushan → Bao
- **Good for:** Hiking & Outdoors, Photography, Nature

## About Shenmulei

A scenic area that has emerged in recent years, it is part of the Jiajin Mountain Scenic Area. Its main features are forests, snow-capped peaks, streams, alpine meadows and alpine calcified travertine pools. Major sights include Hongshanping, Shenmulei, the Colourful Pool and the Bijiaopo rhododendron forest. The most appealing feature is its well-preserved primeval forest.
