## About Shanxi Museum

Shanxi Museum sits on the western bank of the Fen River and is Shanxi's largest centre for the collection, conservation, research and display of cultural relics. It brings together the best of the province's cultural heritage, with a collection of about 200,000 precious items. The museum complex consists of a main hall flanked by four corner wings. The whole ensemble rises like a mountain and a gate tower, majestic and grand, and it is one of Taiyuan's key landmark cultural buildings.
