## About Shanghai World Financial Center

This is home to the world's highest observation deck, where visitors can take in panoramic views of the city high above the ground. It is the ideal place for a high-altitude experience, and looking down through the glass floor in the middle of the platform at the endless stream of traffic and buildings below is a real test of nerve.

## Tips from the guidebook

- The observation halls of the Shanghai World Financial Center are scheduled to begin a one-year internal renovation (estimated) on 1 January 2023, and the 94th, 97th and 100th floors are temporarily closed. If you plan to visit, it's best to check first whether they have reopened.
