## About Sanxingdui Museum

The Sanxingdui site in Guanghan, near Chengdu, was discovered in 1931. The large number of artifacts unearthed there, including gold objects, bronzes, jade, pottery and ivory, bear distinctive hallmarks of Bashu culture. Some are simple and archaic, others mysterious and strange, and all carry a powerful artistic impact.
