## About Qixianling Scenic Area

Qixianling Scenic Area is 10 km from the county town of Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County. It consists mainly of the Qixianling mountain range and the Qixianling hot springs. Also known as Qizhiling (Seven Finger Ridge), Qixianling takes its name from its seven finger-shaped peaks and is one of Hainan Island's famous mountains. The seven peaks stand upright like the fingers of a hand, pointing at the sky. Their steep, sheer faces make them natural cliffs and a popular destination for rock climbing.

## Tips from the guidebook

- 1. The best time to climb is from November to April of the following year. Avoid the rainy season from May to October if possible.
- 2. The hot spring resort restaurant serves distinctive wild vegetables in many varieties, and the Li mountain orchid rice wine served here is quite authentic.
