## About People's Park

Established in 1911, this is one of the earliest parks in modern China. Under the sunshine and among the trees, you can row a boat on the lake and feel the easygoing charm unique to Chengdu. The park's small teahouses and restaurants are also favorite haunts of locals. Doing nothing at all, just zoning out, daydreaming or basking in the sun, can also ease a tense mind.
