## About Peiku Tso Lake

Peiku Tso, also known as Bogu Co or Lacuo Xin, is the largest lake in Shigatse. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, with an open landscape, its shores are often visited by wild horses, Tibetan wild asses, Tibetan antelopes, cranes, ruddy shelducks, and gray ducks. Legend says that anyone who manages to photograph Shishapangma from Peiku Tso will be blessed with good luck. Whether or not this is only a tale, the blessing of snowy peaks and lakes gives people even more reason to linger at Peiku Tso.
