## About Old Town Quarter

This is a must-visit for overseas Chinese returning to trace their family roots. Most of the Western-style arcade buildings on the old street were built in the 1920s–1930s, in styles including faux-Roman, faux-Gothic and Baroque. Although the old street no longer enjoys its former prosperity, its ancient buildings still stand firm.
