## About Museum of the Nanyue King (Royal Tomb Section)

The Nanyue King's Tomb was excavated in June 1983. This exhibition area was built on the original tomb site and displays the tomb in situ along with the artifacts unearthed from it. The Nanyue King's Tomb is arguably the Han-dynasty tomb in the Lingnan region with the most unearthed artifacts, the richest burial goods and the greatest archaeological yield. The “jade burial suit with gold thread” worn by the tomb's occupant is a priceless treasure. The site is now part of the Museum of the Nanyue King.
