## About Mou Family Manor

China’s best-preserved and most typical landlord manor. Its carved pillars and patterned lattice windows are exquisitely beautiful. It is known for its “three carvings, six oddities and nine marvels” artistic features, and is hailed as a “treasure of traditional architecture” that is well worth savouring. Mou Family Manor is also called “the Chinese folk Little Forbidden City.” It preserves a long-standing folk culture, recreates the ancient customs of the Jiaodong Peninsula, and is an encyclopedia of the daily life of the feudal landlord class.
