## About Ming and Qing Palace Gardens

The Ming and Qing Palace Gardens are a 1:1 replica of key areas of Beijing’s Forbidden City, including the Three Great Halls. As you move through them, you can feel the majesty of the imperial palaces, the grandeur of the princely residences and government offices, the delicacy of hutong courtyard homes, and the spaciousness of imperial gardens. Strolling along the paths, you may wonder whether a concubine is singing a lament just beyond the wall, or whether passing through one of the palace gates will transport you back to the Ming or Qing dynasty, where you might live out an unforgettable love story with an emperor. The gardens have served as a location for over a hundred films, including *Tianxia Wushuang* and *Curse of the Golden Flower*, and many popular palace dramas were filmed here. If you want to see actors hard at work on set, this is the place.
