## About May Fourth Square

May Fourth Square is named in commemoration of Qingdao's role as a trigger point of the May Fourth Movement. Its most iconic landmark is the "Wind of May" sculpture, shaped like a spiralling gust of wind. From the seaside at May Fourth Square you can enjoy views of Fushan Bay and Yaner Island. Today it is one of Qingdao's signature landscapes of the new century.
