## About Lushan Mountain (Mount Lu)

No trip to Jiangxi is complete without visiting Mount Lu. Lushan's natural scenic areas are mostly concentrated on the southern slopes, hence the saying “Lushan's beauty lies in its south.” However, the southern sights are spread out and the routes are challenging. The cultural attractions clustered around Guling Town each have a legend or a piece of history behind them.

## Tips from the guidebook

- 1. The Lushan entrance ticket does not cover every attraction; some sights require separate tickets.
- 2. Lushan gets a lot of rain. Take care during thunderstorms and protect yourself against lightning.
- 3. Avoid unlicensed guides, unlicensed taxis and unlicensed inns to prevent being cheated.
- 4. The Lushan entrance ticket is valid for 2 days. If you leave the mountain on the first day, you must register at the Lushan Park Gate before you go back down.
- Lushan Suspension Bridge
