## About Love River

No matter how artificial this attraction may be, its theme of “love” is something few people can resist. The most beautiful stretch of Love River is the riverside park on both banks between Kaohsiung Bridge and Qixian Bridge. After dark, the street lamps along both banks create an elegant, enchanting atmosphere, and couples stroll here with great charm. On the river you can ride sightseeing boats named after Cupid and seven internationally famous couples. Many stops along the route let you get on and off to enjoy the riverside views, coffee and food.

## Tips from the guidebook

- 1. Enjoy the night view: Love River is at its most beautiful after dark, when the street lamps along the banks glow. You can also watch the laser light, music and water show at Citizens' Plaza.
- 2. The “Love Boat”: The best way to explore Love River is by Love Boat. The route runs from Music Hall Pier to Kaohsiung Bridge and then to Jianguo Bridge. Each boat seats 20 passengers and departs once full, with several stops along the way. A one-way ticket costs NT$120.
