## About Lotus Pond

Lotus Pond, originally called Lotus Flower Pond, lies on the east side of Zuoying District. More than 20 temples stand around it, the most famous being the Kaohsiung Confucius Temple, Spring and Autumn Pavilions, Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, and the Beiji Xuantian Shangdi Temple. The annual Lotus Pond Wannian Ceremony, held around October, makes the area a popular destination rich in traditional culture and religious atmosphere.
