## About Longtan Grand Canyon

Longtan Grand Canyon is celebrated as the “first zhanggu (gorge-valley) canyon in China.” The scenic area features six natural mysteries: water flowing uphill, the Buddha’s Glow and Arhat Cliff, the Immortal’s Footprints, the Heavenly Script on Stone, the Giant’s Fingerprints, and the Butterfly Spring; seven secluded pools and waterfalls: Green Dragon Pool, Black Dragon Pool, Reclining Dragon Pool, Five Dragon Pool, Dragon Saliva Pool, Yin-Yang Pool and Reed Pool; and eight natural wonders: the Peerless Heavenly Stele, Magpies Welcoming Guests, the Silver Chain Hanging from the Sky, Spring and Autumn on Stone, the Yin-Yang Pool Jar Valley, the Five-Dynasty Ripple Stone, Heaven Collapsing and Earth Splitting, and the Spirit Lane Valley. Each one is astonishing, and you may find it hard to tear yourself away.
