## About Lianfeng Mountain

The mountain's ridges link together in a wondrous way, and seen from afar it resembles a lotus seedpod, so it is also called Lotus Seedpod Mountain. The park has many scenic spots across its hills, and most of the “Twenty-Four Scenic Spots of Beidaihe” that locals speak of are within it. Its main attractions include Wanghai Pavilion, Shenshan and Baifu Garden, all of which are worth exploring one by one.

## Tips from the guidebook

- Every spring, Lianfeng Mountain temporarily closes for fire-prevention purposes, and usually does not reopen until June.
- When visiting the aquarium, polar hall or shark pavilion, or when getting close to small animals and playing in the water, please take care!
- Zushan: Located 20 km northwest of Qinhuangdao's urban area, covering 118 square km with an elevation of 1,428 m, Zushan has been designated a national forest park and is known as a “natural geology museum.”

### Quick recommendation

Le Island Ocean Park: Offers undersea sightseeing, water recreation and marine animal shows, and when you're tired there are plenty of bars and restaurants, making it a great place to relax.
