## About Jinxi Ancient Town

Known as the 'Hometown of China's Folk Museums'. It pioneered the country's only China Ancient Brick and Tile Museum, and has since opened the East China's First Antiques Museum, the China Pottery Capital Purple Clay Museum and the Chinese Dynastic Coin Collection Museum. Jinxi is a thousand-year-old town with the enchanting charm of Jiangnan water towns and numerous scenic spots and historic sites. Its main attractions include the Chen Consort's Water Tomb, which seems to appear and vanish in the mist; the Wenchang Ancient Pavilion, whose wind chimes ring melodiously; the Ten-Eye Long Bridge, which 'crouches like a dragon on the waves'; the Tongshen Imperial Hall, whose golden plaque was bestowed by Emperor Xiaozong of the Song dynasty; and the Luohan Ancient Pine in Gulian Temple. Local legend holds that these date back to the Southern Song dynasty.
