- **Getting there:** Take bus 963 from Chongqing North Railway Station to Jindaoxia stop; or take a minibus from Beibei Bus Station to Jindaoxia Town; if driving, take the Yuwu Expressway to Beibei, then head toward Jindaoxia
- **By car:** Take the Yuhe Expressway from Chongqing. In Beibei, follow the concrete road north toward Liuyin Township. Continue north past Pianyan Ancient Town, and signs for Jindao Gorge will guide you the rest of the way.

## About Jindao Gorge Scenic Area

Compared with Heishan Valley, Jindao Gorge is more dangerous and steeper. Its plank walkways are built along cliff faces, and it sees fewer visitors, making it a good fit for outdoor enthusiasts and those who enjoy adventure. Temperatures at the top are low, so bring warm clothing.

## Tips from the guidebook

- If a driver in Liuyin tells you that the upper gorge entrance is closed and you can only go to the lower entrance, they are most likely trying to scam you.
