## About Jimingyi Post Town

Located northwest of the Huailai County seat in Hebei, 140 km from Beijing, Jimingyi Post Town was first built in the Yuan dynasty. It was the largest post station on the northwestern route into the capital, and it was also the first stop on Empress Dowager Cixi's journey westward. Today Jimingyi's rich history frequently features on screen, and the film A Chinese Odyssey was shot here.
