## About Ili Flower Viewing

Zhaosu Rapeseed Flowers: On the open Zhaosu Grassland lies the largest rapeseed field in China. Every July, golden rapeseed flowers and sunflowers bloom in full, adding a romantic and picturesque touch to the grassland.

## Tips from the guidebook

- Mid-June to mid-July is the flowering season. When visiting, it is best to wear long sleeves and long trousers, and to protect yourself against sun and mosquito bites.
- Apricot Blossom Valley: Green hillsides are covered with blooming pink apricot trees, while cattle and sheep graze quietly, creating a scene as beautiful as a hidden utopia. Mid-April to early May is the best time to see the apricot blossoms. They bloom and fade in only about seven days, so the flowering period is very short.
