## About Huandao Road

It is a credit to the people of Xiamen that such a major road is kept so beautifully, and it is couples who have made Huandao Road a byword for romance. If you are visiting Xiamen alone, do not go to Huandao Road, as it will only make you feel more lonely.

## Tips from the guidebook

- 1. Renting a tandem bicycle on Huandao Road costs about ¥20 per hour, so you can ride with friends while enjoying the blue sky, white clouds and the sea.
- 2. A red running track runs along the road, set aside specifically for jogging.
- 3. You can tour Huandao Road on the island sightseeing bus, which departs from the Xiamen Tourist Distribution Centre and passes attractions including Hulishan Fortress, Zhenzhu Bay, Zengcuo'an, Haiyuntai and Guanyin Mountain. Fare: ¥60.
