## About Hongchiba National Forest Park

Hongchiba is the largest alpine grassland in southern China and the former residence of Huang Xie, Lord Chunshen, a famous figure of the Warring States period. In summer, the grasslands are lush and green and covered with flowers. In winter, the landscape is blanketed in snow, resembling northern China. Its “world-class wonder,” Summer Ice Cave, is one of China's ten great caves. It is icy in summer and steamy in winter, and its mystery remains unsolved.
