## About Furong River National Key Scenic Area

The Furong River is the largest tributary of the Wujiang River. Its Chongqing section forms a scenic high-gorge reservoir landscape along both banks, with many attractions. The most famous is Furong Cave, known as “the number one cave under heaven.” Beside the cave is the Dijiang cross-river zipline, currently the longest river-crossing zipline. Soaring across the water, you can enjoy a bird's-eye view of the Furong River Grand Canyon and take in the full expanse of the Furong River hydropower reservoir. The scenic area is also home to the black-leaf monkey, a first-class nationally protected rare species, which can be observed up close, and macaques are often seen in large groups.
