Fenjiezhou Island Tourist Area marks an important watershed on Hainan Island and is a paradise for divers. Here you can also climb the “Money Road,” a path paved with granite slabs carved with ancient coin designs from China and abroad, and learn about island life.

- Important Watershed
- 1. Fenjiezhou Island is not only an important watershed for Hainan Island, but also for Niuling Ridge (牛岭).
- 2. Niuling Ridge marks the dividing line between Hainan’s geography, ethnic groups and climate. The north, Riyue Bay in Wanning, lies in the North Tropical Zone and is home mainly to the Han Chinese. The south, Xiangshui Bay in Lingshui Li Autonomous County, lies in the Mid-Tropical Zone and is home to many Li, Miao, Hui and other ethnic minorities.
