It preserves industrial buildings from the 1930s through the 1990s and is home to hundreds of domestic and international artists and many creative design firms.; Near Hengfeng Road Moling Road (恒丰路秣陵路) bus stop (Shanghai Railway Station), Jiangning Road (江宁路) metro station No. 8 Bridge was once a famous old factory that suddenly reinvented itself, leaping into view with the most cutting-edge fashion. The bridges linking the buildings are the most striking architectural feature of No. 8 Bridge. The complex consists of seven buildings, connected on the second floor by bridges. There are only four bridges in total. The industrial-style steel bridge was extended from the factory’s original structures, and the green gate-shaped bridge is an enlarged version of the No. 8 Bridge logo. The site has become a venue for international cultural events.; Near Chongqing South Road Jianguo Middle Road (重庆南路建国中路) bus stop, Dapuqiao (打浦桥) metro station Jinxian Road is not long, only about 400 metres, yet it captures the everyday spirit of Shanghai. Netizens call it the “slow-walk artsy route.” It gathers many well-known Benbang (本帮) restaurants, and even some authentic Michelin-recommended “fly-swatter” eateries. For example, Kaisiling’s butter chestnut cream cake is a childhood memory for many Shanghainese. The location of “Night Tokyo” from the TV drama *Blossoms Shanghai* is No. 248 Jinxian Road.

## About Fashion Street

Coming to Shanghai without catching a fashion show that is unique to the city would be a bit of a pity. Fashion and style are best discovered in Shanghai, though you have to pay close attention to appreciate their nuances.
1933 Shanghai (1933老场坊): once Asia’s largest Far East abattoir, now a fashionable creative park. Its layout is like a maze yet clearly ordered. Stephen Chow’s *Kung Fu Hustle* was filmed here, so fans of fashion and architecture should not miss it.
