## About Daxu Ancient Town

Daxu Old Street is not wide. Underfoot are worn bluestone slabs, and the old houses on either side are mostly two-storey Ming and Qing buildings with grey brick walls and grey tiles. Many old craft workshops survive, such as bamboo weaving and straw sandal makers, along with traditional herbal clinics and old barbershops, and the marks of history are visible everywhere.
In the evening, find a seat, enjoy the river breeze and eat fresh river fish. It is simple, rustic and natural.
