## About Dangkou Ancient Town

Dangkou is a classic Jiangnan water town. Its main attractions line both banks of the ancient river, and most of them showcase the life stories and relics of local notable figures. The stage east of the Hua Hengfang Memorial Hall often hosts performances and creative markets. The town has many local snacks: zouyou pork (braised pork belly) is the most famous, and shui jin dou hua (tofu pudding), Jin family sesame flatbread and medicinal-herb pastries are also recommended.
