## About Chongsaikang

Lhasa's largest small-commodity wholesale market, comparable to Hanzheng Street in Wuhan. The air is thick with the smell of yak butter, and piles of yak meat and Nepalese black tea are on sale. Khampa people, with red hero knots in their hair, still hold a traditional advantage here and use an old method called sleeve bargaining. The two sides place their hands inside each other's sleeves and negotiate prices by touch. They reach an understanding while chatting and laughing, and bystanders cannot tell what is happening.
