## About Chihkan Tower

Chihkan Tower was originally a defensive citadel built by the Dutch. Over time it was damaged and remodeled, and Chinese-style pavilions gradually replaced the Dutch fortress architecture. After several restorations, it was expanded with Wenchang Pavilion, Haishen Pass, Penghu Academy and the Tainan City History Museum, making Chihkan Tower Tainan's most representative landmark.
